Anthony Caravaggi


Everyone knows that insects are extremely important pollinators, but did you know that some birds fill this role, too? I’ll be talking about some of these birds and how important they are for pollination of various plants, including, in some cases, crops.


About Anthony

Anthony is a Lecturer in Natural History at the The University of South Wales. He is also an ecologist and conservation biologist – he studies wildlife to find out where they go, what they do and why they do it. His work answers questions that can be used by conservationists, managers, other researchers, ecologists and policy makers. Anthony is passionate about science communication and connecting people with science and nature. I am the creator and organiser of the twitter-based science communication project, @Biotweeps
